Welcome to the Port St. Lucie Business Club (“PSLBC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By participating in our community, attending events, or engaging with our online platforms, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Membership and Participation

Membership in PSLBC is open to individuals and businesses of all industries.
There is no fee to join our public Facebook group or attend most networking events; however, some events may require a nominal fee for entry or participation.
First-time guests are always welcome. Regular attendance and engagement are encouraged but not required for general members.

2. Code of Conduct

We strive to maintain a welcoming, respectful, and professional environment for all members. By participating, you agree to:

Treat all members and guests with respect and professionalism.
Avoid aggressive sales tactics, spamming, or soliciting members without their consent.
Promote collaboration over competition—multiple businesses from the same industry may be involved.
Use inclusive, non-discriminatory language and behavior at all times.
Refrain from political, religious, or divisive speech in the group or at events.

Violation of this code may result in removal from events, the online group, or future participation.

3. Event Attendance and Behavior

Event details (dates, times, locations) may vary each month and are subject to change.
Attendees are responsible for their own conduct and safety during events.
Alcohol may be present at some events—please drink responsibly.
PSLBC is not liable for any loss, injury, or damages resulting from event attendance or participation.

4. Promotion and Content Sharing

Members are encouraged to share promotions, services, or events in accordance with group posting guidelines (e.g., themed days such as Testimonial Tuesday or Feedback Friday).
Excessive self-promotion may be removed at the discretion of the moderators.
By attending events or submitting content (photos, testimonials, etc.), you grant PSLBC the right to use your image or submitted materials for promotional purposes, unless otherwise requested in writing.

5. Sponsorships and Partnerships

Event sponsors or partners will be acknowledged according to their sponsorship tier or agreement.
All sponsorships are subject to approval and may include shout-outs, logo placement, and social media mentions.
Sponsorship does not guarantee exclusivity unless explicitly stated in writing.

6. Community Connector Program

Our Community Connector volunteer program has its own set of expectations and requirements. Participation is by application and may be limited.
Connectors agree to fulfill a minimum number of monthly contributions to remain active.

7. Changes and Termination

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
PSLBC may suspend or terminate any member’s participation in the group or events for violations of these terms or behavior not aligned with our mission.
