Question 1

How do I join the Port St. Lucie Business Club?

Accepted Answer

Start with our free Facebook group. That's where the daily conversation happens. Over 7,400 local business owners are already there. From there, subscribe to our weekly newsletter to stay informed. No membership fees. No applications. Just show up.

Question 2

Is there a membership fee?

Accepted Answer

No. The Facebook group is free. The newsletter is free. The networking calendar is free. We offer sponsorship opportunities for businesses that want additional visibility, but there's no cost to be part of the community.

Question 3

How is PSLBC different from other networking groups?

Accepted Answer

Most networking groups meet at the same place, same time, same format every month. We don't. Our events rotate venues, dates, and formats on purpose. But more than that, we're not just an events organization. We're a community impact organization. Media and storytelling are our main tools. We give visibility to local businesses and nonprofits through our newsletter, video content, and community presence.

Question 4

How often do you host events?

Accepted Answer

We host one larger networking event each quarter, plus smaller activities in between. That includes pop-up events, community service days, road cleanups, and nonprofit tours. When we gather, it's intentional. We're not trying to fill a calendar. We're trying to bring people together with purpose.

Question 5

Do I have to be located in Port St. Lucie to join?

Accepted Answer

We're focused on the Treasure Coast, so if you serve businesses or customers in this area, you're welcome. Most of our members are in Port St. Lucie, but we also have business owners from Fort Pierce, Stuart, Jensen Beach, Vero Beach, and surrounding areas.

Question 6

How do I get my business featured?

Accepted Answer

We highlight local businesses in our newsletter and video content at no cost. If you'd like to be considered for a spotlight, reach out through our contact form. We're always looking for good stories to share. Sponsored content is also available and always clearly marked.

Question 7

How do I submit an event to the calendar?

Accepted Answer

Use the contact form on our website and select 'Event Submission.' Include the event name, date, time, location, and a brief description. We add relevant business and networking events from across the Treasure Coast, not just our own.

Question 8

I run a nonprofit. How can we partner with PSLBC?

Accepted Answer

We love connecting local nonprofits with our community. We feature nonprofits in our newsletter and video content, organize nonprofit tours, and help spread the word about volunteer opportunities and fundraisers. Use our contact form and select 'Nonprofit Partnership' to start the conversation.

Question 9

How do I become a sponsor?

Accepted Answer

We offer sponsorship opportunities in our newsletter, at events, and through other channels. All sponsored content is clearly marked. We only partner with businesses that align with our community values. Visit our sponsorship page or reach out through the contact form to learn more.

Question 10

What's in the weekly newsletter?

Accepted Answer

Every Monday, we send out The Connection. It includes local business news, upcoming networking events, a spotlight on a community changemaker, and member classifieds. Over 3,400 Treasure Coast business owners subscribe. No spam. Just what matters here.
