The Port St. Lucie Business Club (PSLBC) is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and trustworthy environment for all members of our community. This policy exists to clearly outline expectations of conduct, establish procedures for reporting safety-related concerns, and define how PSLBC leadership will respond when concerns arise.
PSLBC recognizes that community-building involves people, relationships, and responsibility. While no organization is perfect, PSLBC is committed to acting with integrity, urgency, and care when safety or conduct concerns are brought forward.
This policy applies to all individuals affiliated with PSLBC, including but not limited to:
Affiliation with PSLBC is a privilege, not a right, and may be suspended or revoked at the discretion of PSLBC leadership when necessary to protect community safety and organizational integrity.

PSLBC does not tolerate harassment, threats, discrimination, intimidation, or conduct that places others at risk.

PSLBC reserves the right to determine whether a concern falls within the scope of this policy.
PSLBC provides multiple avenues for reporting safety or conduct concerns:
Reports may be submitted anonymously. Individuals are encouraged, but not required, to provide as much detail as possible to assist with review.
Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith is strictly prohibited. Any retaliatory behavior will be treated as a serious violation of this policy.
Reports are reviewed by a designated Safety Review Group, consisting of select members of PSLBC leadership. This group is responsible for ensuring concerns are handled promptly, fairly, and confidentially.
Reports will be acknowledged within 24 hours of receipt whenever possible.
The Safety Review Group will conduct an initial review within 24-48 hours to assess urgency and determine next steps.
PSLBC reserves the right to take immediate interim action when credible safety concerns arise. This may include:

All reports and reviews will be handled with discretion. Information will be shared only on a need-to-know basis to protect privacy and the integrity of the process.
PSLBC accepts anonymous reports in good faith. However, knowingly false or malicious reports intended to harm others or disrupt the organization are prohibited and may result in legal consequences.
PSLBC will communicate outcomes only when appropriate and necessary. Details of reports, investigations, or individuals involved may not be publicly disclosed.
This policy will be reviewed periodically and updated as needed to ensure it continues to serve the best interests of the PSLBC community.
